LARAMIE, Wyo. -

Wyoming junior Mark Korir and senior Gretchen Johnson will run in the biggest collegiate cross country meet of the year, the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind., on Monday, November 19th.

Not only is it the biggest meet of the year, it is a historic event for cross country as a sport. The meet will be televised for the first time ever. The live telecast will run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mountain Standard Time on CSTV. There will also be a live webcast held by CSTV, the link to the live webcast will be available from the website, www.ustfccca.org.

This will be the second appearance for Korir at the championship meet and the first for Johnson. Korir placed 22nd in last year's event and earned All-America honors. It will be a familiar course for both as they competed at the Pre-National meet earlier in the year. Korir placed 20th while Johnson placed 67th.
