2006-07: Chris Anderson returns as one of only two seniors on the Wyoming roster this season. Anderson's athletic ability make him one of the Cowboys' best frontcourt defenders and rebounders. Anderson had a number of outstanding games last season, including strong performances versus Northern Colorado, Air Force and San Diego State. He played a key role for the Pokes coming off the bench in his junior season, but should challenge for a starting role this year.

2005-06: Anderson's key contributions to the Cowboy squad in 2005-06 came as a defender and as Wyoming's second leading offensive rebounder. Anderson enjoyed the best game of his two-year Wyoming career against Northern Colorado on Nov. 22, 2005. He scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to record his first career double-double versus UNC. In conference play, Anderson provided Wyoming with a huge spark off the bench in a 55-50 home win over Air Force on Jan. 11, 2006. Anderson came off the bench for the Cowboys to score seven points and pull down five rebounds, while shooting a perfect 3 of 3 from the field and 1 of 1 from the free-throw line in 17 minutes of play. He also was very productive in a 77-78 overtime loss at home to San Diego State. After senior Justin Williams was unable to continue due to a sprained ankle, Anderson came off the bench to score eight points and grab four rebounds, while shooting 1 of 1 from the field and 6 of 8 from the free-throw line. Anderson ranked fourth for the Cowboys in blocked shots, with nine, and seventh in rebounding (3.3 rpg). He played in 28 of 32 games for the Cowboys, starting three -- versus UNC Wilmington, Northern Colorado and Utah.

2004-05: Anderson played in 21 games for Wyoming in his first season as a Cowboy. He averaged 1.8 points and 1.1 rebounds per game, while playing 6.1 minutes per game. Anderson played a career high 21 minutes vs. Indiana-Purdue at Fort Wayne on Jan. 10, 2005. Anderson also had career highs of nine points and eight rebounds vs. IPFW. His best conference game came against Utah in Laramie on Jan. 15. Against the Utes, Anderson scored seven points, blocked three opponent shots and shot 60.0 percent from the field (3 of 5 field goals). He shot 56.0 percent from the field for the season to rank No. 2 on the team in shooting percentage.

Junior College: Anderson averaged 4.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 23 games his redshirt freshman season at Eastern Utah Community College. He shot 45.6 percent from the field and pulled down 67 rebounds for the 2003-04 season. Eastern Utah compiled a 16-15 record for the 2003-04 campaign. Anderson redshirted the 2002-03 season at Eastern. His junior-college coach was Bryan Zollinger, who also coached former Cowboy Scottie Vines at Eastern Utah.

High School/Personal: Anderson had an outstanding high school career at Layton Christian Academy in Layton, Utah, where he averaged 16.8 points, 12.6 rebounds and 7.2 blocked shots per game. Anderson was named All-Region 16, All-Region 16 Most Valuable Player and All-State his senior season. He was also a team captain of his basketball team. Anderson led Layton High to a 16-10 record and the quarterfinals of the 2002 Utah State Tournament. A multi-sport athlete, Anderson also earned All-Region honors in cross country and track and field. In the classroom, he was an honor student. As a member of his school's speech and debate team, he won a State Championship. His high school basketball coach was Bobby Porter.

Born Aug. 10, 1984, he is the son of Crystal and Curtis Williams. Anderson was also recruited by Long Beach State, Utah State and Weber State. Anderson is majoring in social science.
