2011-12: Grabau (pronounced GRAY-bo) played in 21 of UW's 33 games during the 2011-12 campaign. He averaged 0.9 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists a game. Grabau's top performance of the season was eight points at Boise State on Jan. 28 on 2-of-2 from deep and 2-of-2 at the free throw line. He also scored six points and grabbed five rebounds against Western State on Nov. 12. He played a season-high 31 minutes of action against Idaho State on Jan. 9. He dished out a season-high three assists on two occasions during the season.

Before Wyoming: A 6'2" guard, Grabau averaged 20.8 points, 4.6 assists, 2.1 steals and 2.8 rebounds a game during the 2010-11 season. He shot nearly 50 percent from the field and over 40 percent from three-point range.

As a senior, Grabau led the Boulder Panthers to a record of 25-3 and the Colorado 5A state championship game. He was exceptional in the state tournament and was named the tournament's MVP. In the "Sweet 16," he scored 30 points against Mountain Vista. In the "Great Eight," he scored 28 points in a win over Denver East. In the "Final Four," he scored 30 points in a come-from-behind win over Highlands Ranch. In the championship game, he scored 26 points in a loss to Regis-Jesuit.

As a junior in 2009-10, Grabau was named Second Team All-State by The Denver Post.

Grabau began his high school career at Faith Christian High School, where he led his team to the Colorado 3A State Championship as both a freshman and sophomore. He was named First Team All-State in Class 3A by The Denver Post as a sophomore. He transferred to Boulder High for his junior and senior seasons. He was coached by Alan Schulz at Boulder High and Andrew Hasz at Faith Christian.

Personal: Grabau was born on Nov. 30, 1992 in Boulder, Colo., to Craig Grabau and Jody Brewer. He has not declared a major. He has one brother, Chase, who will be a senior on the Idaho State basketball team during the 2011-12 season. Riley was also recruited by Western Kentucky.
