LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Nigerian cousins Uche Nsonwu-Amadi and Ugo Udezue proved to be nightmares for Eastern Kentucky, combining for 30 points and 22 rebounds in Wyoming's 98-78 win Saturday.
Nsonwu-Amadi, who was 8-of-8 from the floor, scored 18 points and Udezue had 12. Each grabbed 11 rebounds.
Josh Davis led the Cowboys (2-1) in scoring for the third straight time with 20 points. He had nine rebounds, barely missing his third consecutive double-double.
Paris Corner came off the bench and didn't miss a shot to score 15 points, while Jason Straight added 11 and Marc Bailey 10 for Wyoming.
Eastern Kentucky's Spanky Parks led all scorers with 23, while Ben Rushing added 12 and Michael Haney 11.
Wyoming never trailed but held a slim 58-56 lead with 14:41 left after Parks' 3-pointer for the Colonels (1-2).
The Cowboys then used their superior height and rebounding strength to outscore the Colonels 40-22 the rest of the way.
Wyoming, which held a 57-35 advantage on the boards, opened up a 98-74 lead near the end.
