BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Marcus Bailey scored 25 points and had five assists to lead Wyoming to a 77-62 victory over Montana State, in the "Border War" game played at the Billings Metra.

Bailey scored four points during a key 14-4 second-half run, in which Wyoming (4-0) extended its lead to 66-45 on a tip-in by Ronell Mingo with 6:54 remaining.

Wyoming led by as much as 73-50 on a 3-point play by Bailey with 4:26 remaining, before Montana State (3-3) went on a 10-0 run to pull within 73-60 after a put-back basket by Kenny Plummer. Plummer had six of his 10 points during the run.

Montana State led just once, at 3-2 with 18:28 to play, but the score was tied at 27-all with 3:45 to play on a 3-pointer by MSU's Danny Faaborg and again at 29-all on a two free throws by Plummer.

Wyoming led 38-30 at halftime, and the closest Montana State got in the second half was 38-33 after a 3-pointer by John Lazosky with 19:23 remaining.

Also in double figures for Wyoming were Josh Davis with 12 points and Uche Nosonwu-Amadi with 10 points and six rebounds.

Lazosky led Montana State with 16 points, followed by Justin Brown with 12.

Wyoming leads the Border War series 6-0.
