LARAMIE, Wyo. - Donta Richardson, in his first Division I start, scored 19 points, including 10 during a key five-minute run, to lead Wyoming to a 86-71 win over Cal State Fullerton on Saturday.

Paris Corner had 14 points, while Uche Nsonwu-Amadi had 12 points and eight rebounds and Marc Bailey 11 points for Wyoming (4-2).

For Fullerton (1-4), Pape Sow scored a career-high 19 points and had nine rebounds, while Brandon Campbell tallied 18 points and Kevin Richardson added 11.

Wyoming used a 49-22 run during a nine-minute stretch bridging the half to wipe out a 13-point deficit and go up 58-44 with 15:51 remaining.

The Titans, though, were within 69-61 after a free throw by Josh Fischer with 8:25 left. That was before an 8-0 roll by Wyoming, highlighted by Nsonwu-Amadi's two lay-ins. His last bucket, on an assist by Corner, put the Cowboys up 77-61 with 4:36 left.

Fullerton got no closer than 11 points the rest of the way.

The Cowboys started slow, missing 14 of their first 18 shots to fall behind 22-9 in the first 11 minutes.

After Ryan Dillon's 3-pointer gave Fullerton a 31-23 lead with 5:11 left in the first half, Wyoming exploded for an 18-4 run to close out the period and take a 41-35 halftime lead.

Richardson, a junior who transferred from Sheridan (Wyo.) College, keyed the blitz with 10 points, including a 3-pointer that tied it at 33 and a steal and dunk just before the half.
