WYOMING 82, Montana State 69 - Box Score

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Danta Richardson scored 18 points and Marcus Bailey added 17 as Wyoming defeated Montana State 82-69 on Saturday.

The Cowboys (6-3) broke the game open on a 16-0 run in the first half and never looked back. Their biggest lead was 23 in the second half.

Josh Davis added 11 points and Uche Nsonwu-Amadi 10 for Wyoming at the teams' annual Mini Mart Wyoming Shootout game.

The Bobcats (3-6) were led by James Clark's 17 points, followed by 12 from Tom Duffey and 10 by Casey Reynolds. Aaron Rich, who has been leading the team with 12 points per game, was held to just seven points.

The Cowboys outshot Montana State 55 percent to 42 percent from the field and 40 percent to 36 percent from 3-point range. Wyoming also had 11 steals, including five by Richardson.
