Box Score

LARAMIE, Wyo. - Marcus Bailey scored 24 points and Wyoming overcame 36 percent shooting to beat Wichita State 72-65 Saturday night.

Paris Corner added a career-high 14 points and Josh Davis had 12 for Wyoming (9-2).

C.C. McFall led the Shockers with 16 points. Terrell Benton had 15, while Troy Mack scored 11 and O.J. Robinson 10 for Wichita State (5-5), which lost its fourth straight.

After the Shockers' Terrell Benton canned a 3-pointer to tie it at 50, Ronell Mingo sank a turnaround 12-footer to put the Cowboys up 52-50 with 11:44 left and ignited a 15-4 run that put the game out of reach.

During the surge, Davis blocked two shots, had two tip-ins and made a free throw. Corner's 3-pointer made it 65-54 at the 7:03 mark, Wyoming's largest margin.

The closest Wichita State would get the rest of the way was 65-61 after a trey by Michael Phillips with 4:06 left.
