Cowboys 16-6 Record Establishes the Best Start in McClain Era: Wyoming's 16-6 record this season is the best start by a Steve McClain team at Wyoming. In McClain's first season (1998-99), Wyoming started out 14-8. Last season (1999-2000), the Cowboys were 13-9 through 22 games.

McClain's '98-'99 squad won its 23rd game of the season to go to 15-8. A year ago, Wyoming lost its 23rd game for a 13-10 start.

In Case You Missed It:
*Wyoming is 10-0 in Saturday games this season, entering this Saturday's game against Creighton. UW is 5-0 in home games on Saturday, 4-0 in away Saturday contests and 1-0 in neutral-site Saturday games.
*Junior Ronell Mingo scored a career high 18 points on Thursday, Feb. 15 against Brigham Young.
*Junior Paris Corner tied a career high with 14 points on Thursday vs. the BYU Cougars.
*Against BYU this past Thursday night, the Wyoming bench scored 35 of Wyoming's 63 total points or 55.6 percent.
*Wyoming's crowd of 15,456 on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, was a new Arena-Auditorium record. The previous record was 15,218 on Jan. 21, 1995, against BYU.
*The Cowboys have now had four home crowds over 10,000 this season, including the largest in school history -- 15,456 vs. CSU on Feb. 10, 2001. That record crowd followed crowds of 10,191 vs. San Diego State on Saturday, Feb. 3, 10,008 vs. BYU on Monday, Jan. 22, and 13,313 vs. Utah on Saturday, Jan. 20. It marks the first time Wyoming has had four home crowds of over 10,000 since the 1990-91 season.
*Marcus Bailey's 20 points versus Colorado State last Saturday marked the ninth 20-point game for Bailey this season.
*Uche Nsonwu-Amadi's 12 points and 12 rebounds versus CSU marked his fifth double-double of the season.
*Josh Davis' 28 points against UNLV on Monday, Feb. 5 was a career high in scoring for the junior. He also had 14 rebounds against UNLV for his sixth double-double of the year (22nd of his career).
*Chris McMillian recorded his first career double-double when he scored 10 points and handed out 10 assists against Colorado State on Feb. 10.
*Wyoming is 15-3 when scoring 70 or more points this season.

Corner and Mingo Both Coming Off Best Performances as Cowboys: Wyoming juniors Ronell Mingo and Paris Corner are both coming off the best performances of their careers as the enter today's game at Creighton.

Mingo scored a career high 18 points at BYU. His previous high was 15 versus UC Riverside on Nov. 18, 2000.

Corner tied career highs in points (14 points) and rebounds (five rebounds) while playing a career best 27 minutes this past Thursday at Brigham Young.

Corner's previous career high came against Wichita State on Dec. 30, 2000, when he also scored 14 points. He grabbed five rebounds on Feb. 3, 2001, vs. San Diego State for his previous best rebounding game.

Cowboys and Bluejays Meet for Second Time This Season, 13th Time Overall: They aren't in the same conference, but the Wyoming Cowboys and Creighton Bluejays are playing a two-game home-and-away series this season.

Wyoming won the first meeting in Laramie, Wyo., on Dec. 1 by a score of 78-74.

The two teams will be meeting for the 13th time in the two school's histories, with Wyoming holding an 8-4 advantage.
