For the second consecutive year, Wyoming's Brandon Ewing was named Second Team All-Mountain West Conference in a vote by MWC head coaches and media members. Ewing averaged 16.2 points per game in conference play this season to rank fourth in the league. He also handed out 3.50 assists per game against conference opponents to rank sixth in the Mountain West.

Including non-conference games, Ewing has averaged 16.8 points per game for the season, and 4.14 assists per game to rank second in the MWC in both categories.

A junior from Chicago, Ill., Ewing was a Second Team selection a year ago as a sophomore, and earned Third Team honors as a freshman.

Ewing was the only Wyoming player to earn All-Conference honors from the MWC this season.

J.R. Giddens of New Mexico and Lee Cummard of BYU were named Co-Players of the Year in the MWC this season. UNLV's Lon Kruger was voted Coach of the Year. Tim Anderson of Air Force earned Defensive Player of the Year honors.
