LARAMIE, Wyo. -

Wyoming Head Coach Steve McClain announced Friday that junior post player Ugo Udezue will be suspended from the Cowboys' first three regular-season games of the year due to a violation of team rules.

McClain indicated that neither he nor Udezue would comment on the situation. He said the native of Enugu, Nigeria, would not be available to play until the Montana State game on Dec. 3, at Billings. He still may practice with the team during the suspension, McClain said.

Udezue played in Wyoming's two exhibition games averaging 8.5 points and 5.5 rebounds. His high game came last Tuesday night when he scored 13 against the California All-Stars.

McClain said he was uncertain as to whom would replace Udezue in the starting lineup.
