Cowboys Continue to Receive Votes in Both National Polls, Seven Cowboy Opponents Also Receiving Votes: The Wyoming Cowboys continue to receive votes in both national polls this week. Wyoming didn't play since the Nov. 19 poll. Wyoming returns to action tonight,hosting the University of Denver.

Wyoming Has Defeated the Last Six Consecutive Top 25 Teams in The Arena-Auditorium: Wyoming has enjoyed a great deal of success at home against nationally-ranked teams over the past five seasons. In fact, UW has posted a 6-0 record at home against the last six nationally-ranked opponents to play in the Double A.

The last nationally-ranked team to defeat UW in the Dome of Doom was the Cincinnati Bearcats on Dec. 17, 1994, in a game that saw LaZelle Durden hit three free throws with no time left on the clock for a one-point victory (81-80). Cincinnati was ranked No. 17 in the nation at the time.

Notes From Last Week in Cowboy Basketball: In case you missed it, here are some notes from last week in Wyoming Basketball.
*Wyoming's win over UC Riverside was the Cowboys' sixth consecutive home win dating back to last season.
*Wyoming has now defeated 13 consecutive non-conference opponents in Laramie.
*Wyoming is now 25-3 (.893) in home games under head coach Steve McClain.
*Steve McClain is 13-1 (.929) in home games against non-conference opponents.
*Steve McClain has posted a 22-8 (.733) record versus non-conference opponents while at Wyoming.
*Chris McMillian started his 60th consecutive game in the win over UC Riverside on Saturday, Nov. 18. McMillian has started every game of his college career.
*Juniors Josh Davis and Chris McMillian have now started 38 consecutive games together, dating back to Feb. 16, 1999, of their freshman season against Texas Pan-American.
*Josh Davis, Chris McMillian and Marcus Bailey have now started 27 consecutive games together, dating back to Dec. 4, 1999, against Nevada.
*Uche Nsonwu-Amadi and Ronell Mingo made their first starts for the Cowboys in the season opener vs. UC Riverside.
*The Wyoming Cowboys displayed a balanced attack in their season opener versus UC Riverside. Four Cowboys scored in double figures. Ronell Mingo scored 15, Marcus Bailey added 14, while Josh Davis and Chris McMillian each tallied 13. Meanwhile, Uche Nsonwu-Amadi pulled down 10 rebounds, and Davis and Mingo each added nine boards.
*Josh Davis scored in double figures for the 33rd time in 59 career games with his 13 points vs. Riverside.
*Chris McMillian scored in double figures for the 31st time in 60 career games with his 13 points against UCR.
*Marcus Bailey scored in double figures for the 13th time in 32 career games with his 14 points vs. UC Riverside.

Cowboys Bring Six-Game Home Winning Streak Into Denver Game: The Wyoming Cowboys ended the 1999-2000 season with a five-game winning streak. Wyoming defeated San Diego State, UNLV, Air Force, BYU and Utah in its last five home games of the '99-2000 season.

The Cowboys have begun the 2000-01 season with a victory over UC Riverside (77-59) to stretch their home winning streak to six games.
