UW This Season: Jason Amos missed 2004 spring drills after bruising a shoulder on March 31. Amos is expected to be healthy by the start of fall drills in August. He enters the fall third on the depth chart at one wide receiver spot behind Jovon Bouknight and Taber LeMarr.

2003: Amos appeared in seven out of 12 games as a sophomore in 2003. He had one catch for 31 yards in a 48-21 road win at Utah State on Oct. 11. He earned his first varsity letter.

2002: Amos was a squadman on the 2002 Wyoming Football team, but he didn't appear in any games.

2001: Redshirted.

High School: A two-sport standout at Green Mountain High School in Lakewood, Colo., Amos earned All-Jeffco Conference honors in football both his junior and senior seasons. His junior season of 1999, Green Mountain won the Colorado 4A State Championship, as well as the Jeffco Conference title. In track and field, Amos was an All-Conference performer on Green Mountain's 4 x 200 relay team his senior season. His high school football coach was Don McGatlin.

Personal: Born July 3, 1983, he is the oldest of three children of Kathy and John Amos. He is majoring in business administration.
