Junior College: Darion Donnelly had an outstanding sophomore season at Glendale Community College in Glendale, Calif. He caught 52 passes for 751 yards and 13 touchdowns. Glendale posted an 8-2 overall record and a 6-1 conference mark to capture the South Division title in the Western State Conference. Donnelly was named a First Team All-Western State Conference selection, and he also earned JC-Gridwire All-America honors. He was elected a team captain his sophomore season. As a freshman at Glendale, Donnelly caught 37 passes for 458 yards and seven TDs. He played for head coach John Cicuto at Glendale CC. Coming out of junior college, Donnelly was also recruited by Arizona State, California, Tulsa and Washington. High School: Donnelly played his high school football at Granada Hills Charter High School in Granada Hills, Calif. As a team captain his senior year, he helped lead Granada Hills to a 9-3 record and the second round of the state playoffs. He was named First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-City, as well as being named his team's Offensive MVP. His high school coaches were Daryl Stroh and Tom Harp.
