UW This Season: Marcus Felker, along with fellow sophomore Alex Stover and senior Fred Givens, could make the noseguard position one of the deepest on the team this season. Felker is the largest player on the Wyoming Football roster. He weighs in at 328 pounds, but don't let his size fool you in regard to his athletic ability. An outstanding all-around athlete in the Denver-metro area, Felker was one of the best in the state of Colorado in football, wrestling and track and field. He brings both size and strength to the Cowboy defensive line.

2008: Felker appeared in six games for the Pokes. He recorded six tackles, including one tackle for a loss as a redshirt freshman.

2007: Redshirted.

High School: Felker was named by both The Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News as a First Team All-Colorado selection for all classifications in 2006. He also was named First Team All-State in Class 5A by both The Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News both his junior and senior seasons. Rivals.com ranked Felker as the No. 22 overall recruit in the state of Colorado in its Colorado Top 25 Prospects as of January 2007. From his defensive line position, he was credited with making 31 total tackles -- 14 solos and 17 assists -- including two sacks and one interception. As a junior, he made 44 total tackles -- 35 solos and nine assists -- including three sacks. He played for head coach Jeff Priestly at Thornton High School. Felker was the Colorado Class 5A state heavyweight wrestling champion as both a junior and senior. His senior season, he posted a perfect 34-0 record on the mat, and had a combined 75-1 record as a junior and senior. In track and field, Felker won the state title in the shot putt his senior season. He earned 12 varsity letters in high -- lettering in football, wrestling and track as a freshman, sophomore, junior and senior. He is joined by his high school teammate Travis Hillen on the Wyoming Football roster. Felker was also recruited by California, Colorado, Colorado State, Kansas State and Utah.

Personal: Born July 20, 1989, he is the son of Liz Felker. His mom was a track and field athlete at Northern Colorado. Felker is majoring in criminal justice.
