Casey Glenn is in his second year with the Wyoming Football program and his first as tight ends' coach. He joined the Wyoming Football program in April of 2007 as Director of Football Operations and began coaching the Cowboy tight ends in April 2008. As Director of Football Operations in `07 his duties included coordinating team travel, overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the football office and monitoring budgetary and compliance issues relating to Cowboy Football. In his new role as tight ends' coach, he will not only be coaching a position fulltime, but will add recruiting duties to his responsibilities.

Glenn came to Wyoming from the University of Oklahoma where he was a graduate assistant football coach for the Sooners during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. At OU, Glenn assisted in coaching the offensive line. Oklahoma posted an overall record of 19-7 (.731) during Glenn's two seasons on the staff. The Sooners built an 8-4 record in 2005 and defeated Oregon in the Holiday Bowl. In 2006, OU captured the Big XII Conference Championship, posted an 11-3 record and advanced to the Fiesta Bowl to face Boise State.

Prior to going to Oklahoma, he was the offensive line coach and the football strength and speed coach at the University of South Dakota in 2004, helping guide the Coyotes to a 9-2 record. USD led the North Central Conference in total offense and scoring offense in 2004. That team also set school records for points per game (38.0), total offense (444.4 yards per game) and rushing yards (281.0 yards per game).

In 2003, he served as a graduate assistant coach at Idaho State, helping the Bengals post an 8-4 record in the Big Sky Conference.

Prior to entering the coaching profession, Glenn was employed by Hometown Sports Management, which is a sports management and marketing company based in Helena, Mont., that serves professional athletes. He later worked for Browning, Kaleczyc, Berry and Hoven, P.C. Attorneys at Law in their legislative affairs area.

Glenn is the son of Wyoming head football coach Joe Glenn.

As a player, the younger Glenn was a three-year starter at offensive tackle for Carroll College in Helena, Mont., playing for head coach Mike Van Diest, who is a former Wyoming assistant football coach. In his senior season of 2002, Glenn was a key contributor on Carroll College's NAIA National Championship team. He earned All-Conference honors and Little All-America honors his senior season. Glenn was also a starter on teams that advanced to the semifinals of the 2000 and 2001 NAIA Playoffs. The Saints captured three consecutive conference titles during Glenn's playing career

Glenn received his bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in business administration from Carroll College in December of 2002. He completed his master's degree in human relations from the University of Oklahoma in 2007. He and his wife, Shannon, have one daughter, Regan, who was born on Sept. 11, 2006.

"I know that Casey will bring a lot of energy to our program, and I know he's a winner," said UW head football coach Joe Glenn. "It's real exciting to have him working here at Wyoming. I'm very happy this opportunity has come about at this point in our two careers.

"Casey has grown up around the business. I'm very proud he has chosen to make football and young people the focus of his professional life. Over the past four seasons, he has had a chance to learn from some of the best. As a coach, he was part of a Big 12 Championship and coached in two bowl games, and as a player he helped Carroll College win a National Championship.

"He knows all the coaches on our current staff, and will fit in right away. I couldn't be happier or prouder to have him be part of the Cowboy Football program."

Glenn will recruit the states of Illinois and Kansas.
