UW This Season: Kaither Holiway walked on to the Wyoming Football program in the spring of 2008 after transferring from Colorado School of Mines. He will be a sophomore at UW in 2008.

2007: Holiway had 22 receptions for 305 yards as a freshman at Colorado School of Mines in `07. He helped lead Mines to a 7-5 record and a 6-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Mines earned a spot in the Dixie Rotary Bowl in St. George, Utah, where they lost to Western Oregon by a score of 12-26. He played for head coach Bob Stitt.

High School: At Douglas County High School in Castle Rock, Colo., Holiway was an outstanding wide receiver. His senior season, he caught 31 passes for 550 yards and scored nine touchdowns, as Douglas County posted an 11-2 record and advanced to the semifinals of the state playoffs. Holiway was elected a team captain as a senior. His junior year, he helped lead Douglas County to a 13-1 record and the State Championship. He had 22 receptions for 450 yards and four TD receptions his junior season. He played for head coach Jeff Ketron at Douglas County High School. Ketron was a former graduate assistant football coach at the University of Wyoming under former Cowboy head coach Joe Tiller in the 1990s.

Personal: Born Dec. 21, 1988, Holiway is the son of Terry Watts and David Holiway. He is majoring in civil engineering at UW.
