UW This Season: Rob Kellerman enters his fourth season as a starter for the Wyoming Cowboys. Kellerman is slated as the starting right tackle in 2002, but don't be surprised if the versatile senior plays multiple positions on the offensive line. During his previous three seasons, he has started 27 of 33 games -- six starts at left tackle, eight at left guard, seven at right guard and six at right tackle. If he can remain healthy for the entire season, Kellerman will be an honors candidate as a senior. 2001: He entered the 2001 season as the projected starter at right tackle, but in the very first game of the season he started at left tackle due to fellow senior Adam Goldberg missing the game because of mononucleosis. The next two weeks, Kellerman started at left guard. He followed that by two starts at right guard in the fourth and fifth weeks of the season. Then Kellerman returned to left guard where he started in week six. The remainder of the season, Kellerman was limited due to a knee sprain. 2000: He fought through knee problems in 2000 to start 10 of 11 games, following offseason knee surgery. Kellerman was moved to left tackle during 2000 spring drills and started five of the first six games at left tackle. He missed the first start of his career versus Central Michigan, as he was suffering from a separated sternum that occurred the previous week at Texas A&M. Beginning with the Air Force game, he started the last five games of the season at left guard. A very physical big man with good feet and good field awareness.. 1999: Honored by The Sporting News as a Third Team Freshman All-American. Started the first five games of '99 at right guard and the last six at right tackle. Tied for the team lead in pancake blocks his redshirt freshman year with 43, and was second on the team in knockdown blocks with 65. Gave up only four sacks. 1998: Redshirted. High School: A three-year starter at offensive and defensive line. He earned Second Team All-Conference honors on both offense and defense. Defensively, he made 63 tackles as a senior with 9.5 sacks. High school coach was Mitch Shaw. An Honorable Mention All-Conference performer in basketball, he also threw the shot put in track. Other schools which recruited him were Kansas and Missouri. Personal: Born on Dec. 22, 1979, his parents are Donna and George Kellerman. He is the youngest of four brothers. Majoring in communications at UW.
