UW This Season: Matt Sebade walked onto the Wyoming Football team in the spring of 2009 from Lander, Wyo. He will play tight end for the Cowboys.

High School: Sebade was a three-sport star at Lander Valley High School. In football, he was an All-State and All-Conference selection his senior season of 2007, and was selected to play in the Wyoming Shrine Bowl All-Star game in the summer of 2008. He caught 32 passes for 450 yards on offense, and was credited with 25 solo tackles and 45 assists for a total of 70 tackles on defense. He also intercepted a pass and had 15 sacks as a senior. As a starter on the basketball team his senior season of 2007-08, Lander Valley High defeated Newcastle, 49-44, for the Wyoming Class 3A State Basketball Championship. Sebade was an All-State selection in soccer, as well, his senior year. His junior year of football, he recorded 72 total tackles (22 solos and 50 assists) and had 17 sacks. He was selected a team captain in football as both a junior and senior. His sophomore year, Lander Valley was the runner-up for the 3A State Basketball title, and his freshman season, Lander Valley was the runner-up for the Class 4A State Football Championship. Sebade also excelled in the classroom, achieving Honor Roll status throughout high school. He played for head football coach Doug Hughes.

Personal: Born April 24, 1990, he is the youngest of two sons of Leann and Mike Sebade. He has not yet declared a college major.
