UW This Season: Jay Yust came out of 2004 spring drills listed No. 3 at tight end for the Wyoming Cowboys. This will be his third season as a member of the Cowboy Football program. He will have an opportunity to continue to develop as a receiver, playing behind senior Chris Cox and junior-college transfer John Wadkowski. 2003: Yust was a squad member, but didn't play in any games as a redshirt freshman. 2002: Redshirted. High School: Yust played football, basketball and ran track at West Grand High School in Kremmling, Colo. He was an Honorable Mention All-State honoree his senior season of 2001, and earned All-Conference honors both his junior and senior seasons. In basketball, he also earned All-Conference accolades, and was invited to play in the Colorado All-State game. An outstanding student, he achieved honor roll all four years of high school.
