When the Wyoming Cowboys kick off the 2008 College Football season, Dave Walsh, the "Voice of the Cowboys", will be starting his 25th season in the Wyoming radio booth.

Walsh will once again team with longtime Cowboy color analyst Kevin McKinney, who will be adding color commentary on Wyoming Football broadcasts for the 12th consecutive season.

Joining the broadcasts for his first season will be former Cowboy quarterback Randy Welniak, who will serve as the sideline reporter for all Wyoming Football games this season. Welniak was the 1988 Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year.

"We feel lucky to have one of the best broadcast teams in college sports in Dave and Kevin," said Dan Hawley, General Manager of Wyoming Sports Properties, the entity that coordinates all Cowboy Sports Network broadcasts. "Kevin and Dave bring a great deal of enjoyment to our fans on football gamedays. To be able to add a great former Cowboy in Randy Welniak to our network I think will add additional insight to our broadcasts."

All Wyoming Cowboy Football games can be heard live on the 27 affiliate radio stations of the Cowboy Sports Network throughout the states of Wyoming, Colorado and South Dakota. The flagship station for the network is KFBC 1240 AM in Cheyenne, Wyo. The 27 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network follow. The Denver affiliate, KEPN1600 AM will carry all but two Wyoming games -- those other two games, versus Air Force and Colorado State, will be carried on KEPN's sister station, KKFN 104.3 FM in Denver.

Each Wyoming Football game is also broadcast via Wyoming All-Access on the official UW Athletics website: www.wyomingathletics.com.
