Cowboy fans,
Don't lose faith! I know that the latter part of this season has
been frustrating and difficult for all involved with Cowboy Football, from
players to coaches to fans alike. I assure you that there is no harder
working group than the Cowboy Football Family, and we will get this
thing turned around. We have four games left this year, and a serious
statement can be made in four games. When we return UW Football to its glory, it will
make you proud to wear Brown & Gold again and will be something you are proud
to support and be a part of.
This week, the first step in our four game statement, we have
UNLV here at War Memorial. Hopefully it will be cold and snowing so those boys from
the desert worry more about the weather than the game. Regardless, it's
going to be a battle. And after the Tuesday practice we had yesterday, I
doubt they will be as prepared and ready to play as we are.
We appreciate all the support thus far this year and urge you to
come out to the game this weekend and cheer us on.

Well, just when it seems that I've been through enough...
Of course I wish that my football career would have ended on a more
positive
note. But it did end positive. I finished my career playing an entire
game. I finished my career able to say that I played my last game with
everything that I had. Even though I've played other games where I had
better numbers statistically, I can still say that I left everything out
on
the field, including my football career.
I still have a place on this team. I still have a lot of myself to
give.
It just happens to be on the sideline.
This week we will do battle against the Falcons. This is a team whom
I've
respected since I was a kid. I wish I could've had one more chance to
face
them on the field. We have a lot of expectations to accomplish...we
have to
turn our season around. And it will be a battle in the Springs this
Saturday.
