2007-08 (Redshirt Freshman): After practicing hard for a year, Johnson got his chance to play for the Cowboys this past fall and took full advantage. He traveled on the UW squad to all seven tournaments and displayed his ability to contribute some low rounds. Aaron has made a big jump in the level of his game and is now a more confident player. His stroke average was 76.60 during the fall and he had three rounds under par. Johnson's low round came in the final 18 holes at the Turtle Bay Invitational when he scored 69 (-3), helping the Cowboys record the third-best team round in school history, 278 (-10), and the third-best team event total at UW, 859 (-5). His best event finish was at the Purple & Red Invite where he placed 29th in a field of 104. Johnson still has room to improve and is willing to put in the effort to do so. 2006-07 (Freshman): Johnson walked onto the Cowboy team and used his redshirt season.
