Blair Monson

Fall 2011 (Freshman): Monson will redshirt the 2011-12 season to improve his game for the Pokes.

High School: Monson joins Cowboy Golf from Billings High School in Billings, Mont. Monson was a three year letterwinner in golf from 2008-2011. He received All-State golf honors in 2008 and 2010. Monson also helped lead his team to a 2010 state championship. He earned two letters in basketball his junior and senior years. Monson not only excelled on the golf course and basketball court, but also in the classroom. He graduated a member of National Honor Society and earned Academic All-State all four years of high school.

Personal: Monson was born on Dec. 12, 1992 in Billings, Mont. He is the son of Jody and Patty Monson and has a younger sister, Taylor. He is undecided about a major at UW.
