2008-09: With some recruited help in the upper weight classes, Barrone should finally be able to compete in a weight class that fits his natural size this season.

2007-08: For the second straight year, Barrone did all he could to help the team and wrestled above his natural weight in the starting line-up for eight duals at both 184 and 197.

2006-07: Barrone filled in for the Pokes at several different weight classes. He finished the year with a 2-19 overall record and a 1-5 dual record.

2005-06: Barrone finished the year with a 4-17 record and was 4-8 in tournaments.

2004-05: He posted an overall record of four wins and six losses during his redshirt season with one of his victories coming by technical fall.

High School: Barrone was a two-time All-State wrestler in New Mexico. He was also an All-District selection in 2002, 2003, and 2004 at Taos High School. He had an overall record of 119-12 during his high school career. Barrone was also an honor student graduating with a 3.67 GPA.

Personal: Barrone was born February 16, 1986 in Sheridan, Wyo. Dan is one of three children of Della and Daniel Barrone. He is majoring in mathematics.
