2008-09: Chipperfield gives the Cowboys depth and experience at 149 pounds. He should see improvement after a year at the DI level.

2007-08: Chipperfield ended the season as the starter for UW at 157. He had a 3-20 record and participated in ten duals.

2006-07: Chipperfield was an NJCAA National Qualifier for the second straight year and an Academic All-American. He took first place at the Colby CC Tournament.

2005-06: At Western Wyoming CC in Rock Springs, Chipperfield qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament.

High School: Chipperfield went 42-0 and was the Wyoming State Champion from Natona County High School in Casper his senior year. He was a two-time team captain, all-conference performer and three-time state placer. Chipperfield holds the record for season wins and overall takedowns and was a Triple Crown winner. He was selected to the honor roll all four years.

Personal: Born October 20, 1986. He is the son of Laura and Scott Chipperfield. Scott was a UW Wrestling letterwinner in 1983 and 1985. In `85 Scott was WAC champion at 150 pounds. Cody is majoring in secondary education at UW.
