2008-09: A strong option at either 141 or 149 pounds, the Wyoming coaches feel good about having Dallaserra in the line-up. With a year of experience under his belt, Cole is poised to have a successful second season. 2007-08: Dallaserra performed as hoped in his redshirt freshman season and started duals at both 141 and 149 pounds. He finished the season as the starter at 149 and had an overall record of 15-8 record with three pins. Dallaserra placed third at the West Regional Tournament and earned Third Team All-WWC honors. He won the Freshmen of the Year team award, as well as the Cowboy-up team award. Cole placed sixth at the Reno Tournament of Champions and had a good dual meet record, 5-3. 2006-07: Dallaserra used the year as his redshirt season. In open matches he finished with a record of 3-1. High School: Dallaserra was a four-time Montana state champion wrestler at Butte High School and the team captain his senior season. He posted an impressive 140-13 career record and his team captured the Montana State Championship in 2003. Dallaserra also played football his junior and senior years. Personal: Born October 24, 1987 in Butte, Mont., Cole is the only son of Jim and Peggy Dallaserra. His college major is rangeland ecology and watershed management. |
