2008-09: One of few upperclassmen on the roster, Fuhrman offers the Cowboys experience on a youth-laden team. He is part of a very good group of Cowboy wrestlers at 165 pounds and is an excellent student. 2007-08: Dane saw action as the starter at 157 pounds. He had an overall record of 3-14 and donned the Wyoming singlet for seven duals. Since UW is a member institution, he was recognized by the MWC as a Scholar-Athlete. Fuhrman held a 3.65 GPA in the classroom. 2006-07: Fuhrman transfered to UW, wrestled in eight duals at 157 pounds and finished the year with a 1-13 record. 2005-06: He redshirted, was a member of the Clarion University wrestling squad and made the Dean's List. High School: Fuhrman was a four-year letter winner in wrestling and cross country at Moberly High School. In wrestling he was a four-time state qualifier, two-time state finalist and he won the state championship in 2005 at 160 pounds with a record of 44-1. He was a second place finisher as a junior and was 147-27 during his career. He was a two-time state qualifier in cross country. Fuhrman was the class Valedictorian and the National Honor Society President. Personal: Born July 1, 1986 in Moberly Mo. Dane is the son of Lisa and Mark Fuhrman. His father, Mark, wrestled at Nemo University. He has two sisters Heidi and Gretchen. He is majoring in communication at UW. |
