This Season... Will look to make his thrid consecutive trip to NCAA Nationals this season and get back that West Regional Championship from two years ago.

2004-05.... After a successful football season, he came off a shoulder injury to post a record of 7-3 with four of the seven wins by pin. Placed third at the West Regional, and earned a wildcard selection to his second consecutive NCAA Championships as a Cowboy.

2003-2004... Made his first trip to the NCAA Championships going 1-2. Won the Heavyweight Division Title at the West Regional by defeating Clint Walbeck of Fresno State, 3-1. He was ranked as high as 11th in the nation, and had an overall record of 13 wins and only six losses including three pins and two major decisions. One of those wins was against #12 ranked Nathan McClain of Nebraska, where Hoffschneider won 7-3 in only his fifth match of the season.

2002-2003... He advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championships at Northern Colorado.

2001-2002... Red-shirted at UNC.

High School... Hoffschneider captured three consecutive State Championships and four consecutive First Team All- Conference honors. The one year he failed to capture the state championship, he finished state runner-up.

Personal... Born April 19, 1982, he is the youngest of four children of Nancy and Rocky Hoffschneider. He is also married to his wife Breann, and they have a son Haegun, who was born Jan. 21, 2004.
