2009-10: Mikah Kadera is one of several UW wrestlers that have shown recent dramatic improvement. He is part of a three-man group at 157 pounds, any of which could start for Wyoming, and will be an interesting story to watch. Kadera, a sophomore, will benefit from his work ethic and the number of matches he has under his belt over the last two years. He is one of five Cowboy wrestlers competing collegiately in their home state of Wyoming.

2008-09: Kadera wrestled mainly at the 157 pound weight class as a redshirt freshman, with a season record of 13-9. Four of those wins came by fall, one by major decision and he placed second at the Northwest Wyoming tournament.

2007-08: Kadera used his first year at UW to redshirt, along with nine other teammates. In open tournaments he had an overall record of 6-8, with one pin, one technical fall and three major decisions.

High School: Kadera was a four-year letter winner in wrestling and a three-year letter winner in football. He finished fourth at state his freshman year, third his sophomore year and second his junior and senior seasons. Mikah's high school coach was former Cowboy wrestler Corey Hamrick. He was an all-conference selection in football his senior season.

Personal: Born May 1, 1988 in Sundance, Wyo. Mikah is the son of Mike and Jenny Kadera. Both his father and Uncle Bob wrestled in college. He has one younger brother, Clint. Mikah is majoring in physical education-teaching at UW.
