2008-09: Mikah Kadera is part of a log-jam at the 157 pound weight class, where any number of young wrestlers could earn mat time. His year of experience should pay dividends this season. Kadera is one of 10 Wyoming state products on the UW team. 2007-08: Kadera used his first year at UW to redshirt, along with nine other teammates. In open tournaments he had an overall record of 6-8, with one pin, one technical fall and three major decisions. High School: Kadera was a four-year letter winner in wrestling and a three-year letter winner in football. He finished fourth at state his freshman year, third his sophomore year and second his junior and senior seasons. Mikah's high school coach was former Cowboy wrestler Corey Hamrick. He was an all-conference selection in football his senior season. Personal: Born May 1, 1988 in Sundance, Wyo. Mikah is the son of Mike and Jenny Kadera. Both his father and Uncle Bob wrestled in college. He has one younger brother, Clint. Mikah is majoring in physical education-teaching at UW. |
