Kevin Roberts comes to Wyoming from North Idaho College, where he was an assistant coach for two years.

Roberts is a 1996 graduate of the University of Oregon with a degree in sociology. Roberts had an outstanding collegiate career for the Ducks. As a four-year letterwinner, Roberts was a two-time All-American in the 118 pound weight class. He placed fourth as a sophomore and eighth as a junior at the NCAA Wrestling Championships. In his senior year, Roberts was ranked as high as number two in his weight class, but a broken leg prematurely ended his career. Roberts won the 1996 University of Oregon Emerald Award, which recognizes an individual for outstanding student-athletic achievement. In addition, Roberts was named the Most Valuable Wrestler for the Ducks in 1994, 1995 and 1996.

As a graduate of University High School in Spokane, Wash., Roberts was the Washington state champion in 1991 in the 115 pound weight class. Roberts also was a three-time Greater Spokane League champion. Roberts is married to the former Cami Moffat.
