Colton Zier
	Class: RS Freshman Hometown: Basin, Wyo. High School: Riverside Last College: Dickinson State Univ., N.D. Event: 141 pounds

2009-10: Colton Zier is a newcomer to the Wyoming Cowboy team who transfered back to his home state from Dickinson State University. He will factor into the mix at 141 pounds and should learn from the high level of competition on the UW team there. Zier will compete as a redshirt freshman.

2008-09: Zier used his redshirt year while attending Dickinson State University in Dickinson, N.D. Dickinson State is an NAIA institution.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Riverside High School, Zier was a four-year Wyoming All-State wrestler and team captain. He was named to the USA Wrestling Magazine All-America Team. Zier was the Honors Society president, the student body vice president and an honor roll student. He was also a Wyoming All-State football player.

Personal: Colton James Zier was born on Feb. 10, 1990 in Basin, Wyo. He is the son of Ted and Tawni Zier and he has an older brother, Kaleb. Colton is a physical education major at UW.
