The Cowboys fell to Brown University 26-15, lost to Harvard 36-6 and were dropped by second-ranked Oklahoma State 41-0. The losses dropped the Pokes' dual season record to 2-5. During Session One the Cowboys fell to Brown 26-15, winning four of the eight matches wrestled. Junior heavyweight Brad Steele lost his first dual match of the season to 20th-ranked Bronson Lingamfelter. Harvard was the Cowboys' next opponent during Session Three. The Crimson jumped on the short-handed Pokes winning by a score of 36-6. McConville and Hamrick were the only two Wyoming wrestlers to win their matches with McConville winning 9-6 and Hamrick winning 11-4. In the Cowboys' final match of the day they were overmatched by No. 2 ranked Oklahoma State 41-0. Waldhaus and sophomore Kevin Kessner lost close one point matches by scores of 5-4 and 2-1 respectively. In all three matches Wyoming forfeited the 157 and 197 pound weight classes. Suder Says: The following are quotes from Wyoming head coach Steven Suder following the Lone Star Duals. "It was a tough weekend for us but we knew it would be going into it. The guys didn't wrestle bad and I thought we showed glimpses of good things at times in all the matches there just weren't enough of them. "It's hard to say what we got out of this tournament. Our younger guys looked tough in some matches and made young-guy mistakes in others. I was pleased with seniors Mark Hamrick and Kelly McConville who both stepped it up and won two of the three matches they wrestled. We just need to look at the positives of each individual from this tournament and build upon that."
