Wyoming Staff To Hold 2000 Best Stuff Wrestling Coaches Clinic

University of Wyoming head wrestling coach Steven Suder has announced that the Cowboy coaching staff will hold its 2000 "Best Stuff" Wrestling Coaches Clinic on Oct. 7. The clinic will feature Terry Brands, a current assistant coach at the University of Nebraska. Brands is also a member of the 2000 United States Olympic team. In his collegiate wrestling career at the University of Iowa, Brands was a two-time national champion, along with being a three-time All-American and Big Ten champion. In international competition, Brands was a World Champion in 1993 and 1995 and a World Cup Champion is 1994 and 1995. The first session of the clinic will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until lunch at 11:30 a.m. The second session will begin at 1:00 p.m., with a question and answer period to follow at 3:30 p.m. One ticket to the Wyoming-San Diego State football game will be included in the cost of the clinic, and the Cowboys and Aztecs will kickoff at 5:00 p.m. A coaches social will immediately follow the game. Clinic cost is $100 per person, with additional football tickets available if reserved by Sept. 22. Also included in the cost of the clinic is continental breakfast, lunch and the coaches social after the football game. A clinic video is also available for $25. Early registration is encouraged, but coaches can also register on the day of the clinic beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the Wyoming wrestling room.
