Mary Grothe
	Position: Director of Basketball Operations Experience: 3rd yr College Degree: Lynchburg '04

Mary Grothe is in her third season as director of basketball operations and with the University of Wyoming Cowgirl basketball program.

Grothe came to Wyoming after spending a year (2004-05) at Texas A&M-Commerce University (Commerce City, Texas) as a graduate assistant with the Lion basketball program. She assisted in several aspects of the program, including scheduling of games, assisting with practices and recruiting, along with directing the TAMU-C summer basketball camp.

A native of Ohio, Grothe earned her bachelor's degree in health movement science and recreation from Lynchburg College in 2004 and completed her master's degree in health and kinesiology from Texas A&M University-Commerce in the summer of 2006.

She began her college basketball career as a student-athlete at Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia. A four-year letterwinner for the Hornets, she was a team captain while helping her team to a 30-22 overall record during her junior and senior seasons. An excellent student, she was on the Dean's List from 2002-04 and was very involved in many scholastic activities.
