UW This Season: One of three seniors on the squad...a returning starter from a year ago...brings both size and mobility to the post-position...adds depth to the Cowgirl roster.

Junior (2003-04): Played in 28 of 29 games with starts in 21 of those games for the Cowgirls...averaged four points and 3.5 rebounds in 24.1 minutes per contest...shot 14-20 (.700) from the free throw line and 44-142 (.310) from the field...finished with a career high eight rebounds and four assists against Colorado State (3/10/04) in the first round of the MWC tournament...in a homecoming game against Northern Iowa (12/10/03), she finished with nine points and five rebounds, while shooting 4-8 (.500) from the field...scored a career high ten points in 35 minutes against Washington State (11/24/03)...in the first game of the season and the first start of her career, she scored two points and had five rebounds against Denver (11/22/03)...played in 24 minutes of the game...started and played 27 minutes in the first exhibition game for the Cowgirls...scored three points and brought down three rebounds...chipped in 13 points and a team leading six rebounds in the exhibition game against Si Tanka (11/15/03)...was 6-8 from the field in just 15 minutes of play...earned the Barry Crater Sportsmanship Award at the Wyoming Shoot-Out against MSU-Billings (12/13/03)...an Academic All-MWC and Scholar Athlete selection for the third time in her career.

Sophomore (2002-03): Played in 27 of 30 games, while averaging 8.1 minutes per contest...averaged two points and 1.3 rebounds in those games...also shot 41% (22-54) from the field...recorded three blocked shots on the season...in the MWC tournament game against Colorado State (3/12/03), she recorded a season high seven points and shot a perfect 3-3 from the field...played in a season high 21 minutes against New Mexico (2/20/03)...she recorded six points, along with three rebounds against Cal State Northridge (12/22/02)...an Academic All-MWC and Scholar-Athlete selection for the second year in a row.

Freshman (2001-02): Played in 18 of 28 games for the Cowgirls as a true freshman...played a season high 20 minutes in the Cowgirls victory over Western New Mexico (1/1/02)...recorded a season high seven rebounds in 20 minutes of play against Chicago State (2/19/02) and tied a season high with two points in the same game...averaged almost one point and 1.4 rebounds per game in her first season...an Academic All-MWC and Scholar Athlete selection.

High School: A First Team All-State selection by the Associated Press of Iowa at Union High School in La Porte City, Iowa...was also named Second Team All-State by the Des Moines Register, while helping her team to a 25-1 overall record, losing in the state semi-finals...averaged 17 points, ten rebounds, shot 68% from the field and 71% from the free throw line during her senior year...was named the MVP of the Iowa East-West All-Star Game...also played and lettered in three other sports, including volleyball, softball and track and field...was a state qualifier in the high jump in 2001, and part of a conference championship team in 2000...coached in high school by Robert Driscol...an excellent student, she was a two-year National Honor Society member and was on the honor roll all four years of high school...chose Wyoming over several other schools.

Personal: Sara is the daughter of Gary and Mary Jo Hippen...born on Oct. 25, 1983...has one sister, Emily...majoring in architectural engineering.
