Blaine Patterson enters his second year as an assistant coach with the Cowgirl coaching staff after spending the previous four seasons as a basketball manager and administrative assistant with the Wyoming Cowboy basketball program. His duties will include the day-to-day basketball operations, academics, recruiting, and preparing scouting reports.

As an administrative assistant, he assisted with on campus recruiting, film exchange and other administrative duties. He also assisted in organizing all recruiting mail outs and helped the coaching staff in preparation for practices and games. Patterson founded and organized "The Sixth Man Club" and was actively involved in planning and administering the University of Wyoming Cowboy Summer Basketball Camps. Prior to Wyoming, he spent two years at Southwest State University in Marshall, Minn., where he was a student assistant. He completed his bachelor's degree in physical education from Wyoming in May of 2001.

"Blaine brings a work ethic that is needed in the day to day operations in running the program," said Legerski, "He is a tireless worker and someone I feel very fortunate to be able to maintain on our staff."
