UW This Season: A three-year returning letterwinner on the Cowgirl squad...had a breakout year last season and made significant improvement in her play...will look to be a contributor in her final season.

Junior (2004-05): Saw her first regular season action against Denver (11/24/04) and played in a total of 14 games during the season, while averaging 12.0 minutes per contest...averaged 4.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game...in the MWC tournament game against UNLV (3/9/05), she played in a career high 33 minutes while recording a career high five rebounds and three assists...earlier in the season, she had a career high 16 points against UNLV (2/19/05)...finished with 11 points, along with a game high four rebounds, two assists and one block against San Diego State (2/17/05)...recorded six points, while shooting 2-4 (.500) from the field against BYU (2/12/05)...in 13 minutes of play, she scored four points, along with three rebounds, one assist and one steal against Denver (11/26/04)...came in off the bench and played four minutes and scored two points against the Colorado School of Mines (11/12/04)...saw limited action in the Cowgirls first exhibition game against Adams State (11/4/04)...earned Academic All-MWC and Scholar-Athlete honors for the first time in her career.

Sophomore (2003-04): Saw action in five games during the season for the Cowgirls...played in a season high four minutes against Texas Tech (12/6/03)...played two minutes in three other games during the season...saw limited action in the Cowgirls first exhibition game...in the second exhibition game against Si Tanka (11/15/03), she played 11 minutes and scored two points...also finished with two assists, one blocked shot and one steal.

Freshman (2002-03): Played in five games as a true freshman...saw action in her first regular season game against Alaska-Fairbanks (11/29/02)...recorded a season high one steal in that game...in a season high seven minutes of play in the victory over Mesa State, she recorded two points...played in limited action in the Cowgirls second exhibition game...scored two points, had one block, one assist and one steal in the first exhibition game of the season.

High School: A four-year letterwinner in basketball at Leigh High School in San Jose, Calif...as a team captain, she was selected the Most Valuable Player...helped her team to a Division Championship as a junior...in that same year, she was also selected as Most Improved, the Top Defensive Player and All-Tournament...coached in high school by Brendan Gill...was also a four-year letterwinner in track and field...an excellent student, she was on the honor roll throughout high school...selected Wyoming over several schools.

Personal: Michelle is the daughter of Mary Taylor...born June 28, 1984...majoring in elementary education.
