LAS VEGAS (AP) - Jene Morris scored 21 points and teammate Paris Johnson added 17 to lead San Diego State to a win over Wyoming 66-54 in the quarterfinal round of the Mountain West Conference Tournament Wednesday night.

Also for No. 6 seeded San Diego State (17-12), Allison Duffy added 16 points and 10 rebounds.

San Diego State, which lost both regular-season meetings to Wyoming, will now play No. 2 TCU in the semifinal round Friday afternoon.

Megan McGuffey led No. 3 seeded Wyoming (24-6) with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Justyna Podziemska scored 11 points, while Hanna Zaveca added 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Cowgirls, who had defeated the Aztecs last year in the tournament's quarterfinal round.

San Diego State never trailed in the game, jumping to a 13-3 lead and later leading 27-19 at intermission. The Aztecs lead grew to as many as 15 in the second half.
