Cowgirl WNIT Championship Game Sold Out
March 29, 2007 LARAMIE, Wyo. - Saturday's WNIT Championship game between Wyoming and Wisconsin in the Arena-Auditorium is sold out, UW Athletics Director Tom Burman announced Thursday. Burman said a total of 15,000 tickets have been sold, including over 9,000 sold Wednesday night following the Cowgirls' victory over Kansas State.
"The excitement generated by this special group of young women speaks volumns on how UW athletics can pull this state together," Burman said. "This entire tournament experience has been a tremendous show of support by our fans and the entire state of Wyoming."
