LARAMIE, Wyo. -

The Wyoming Cowgirl Basketball team will resume play after the holiday break with one road match-up. They will face the Oregon Ducks, on Saturday, November 29, in Eugene. The game is set to tip off at 8 p.m. Mountain Time.

Wyoming is currently 3-2 overall after earning a 62-55 victory over Boise State on Tuesday night. Freshman Emma Langford leads the way in scoring with 16.6 points and 4.4 assists per game. Senior Megan McGuffey is leading the way with 8.2 rebounds, while chipping in 10.2 points per contest. The Cowgirls are shooting .418 (117-280) from the field, 41-115 (.357) from beyond the arc and .693 (70-101) from the free throw line.

The Ducks are currently 2-2 overall this season. Micaela Cocks leads the way with 18.5 points and 3.3 rebounds per game, while Ellie Manou is adding 14 points and a team leading 8.3 boards. They return three starters and eight letterwinners to a team that went 14-17 overall and 7-11 in the Pac 10 Conference a year ago. This is the third meeting between the two teams. The series is tied at one game a piece. The last time the two teams met was March 22, 2007 as the Cowgirls defeated the 64-62, in Laramie. Oregon is coached by Bev Smith, who is in her eighth season with the program.
