She finished in UW's top three at six of the 10 tournaments and recorded her first three career top-25 finishes. She averaged 79.0 strokes per round in 27 rounds of action. Blunt's best performance came at the Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate during the fall, when she shot a 228 (+12) to tie for eighth place and finish as UW's second scorer. Earlier in the week, she shot a 152 (+8) in the weather-shortened Nevada Wolf Pack Classic to tie for 10th. She also tied her career-best round with a 73 (+1) at the tournament. During the spring, she was UW's second scorer at the Fresno State Lexus Classic after shooting a 232 (+16) to tie for 22nd and third scorer at the Mountain West Championship with a 241 (+25).
2010-11 (Freshman): Blunt played in nine of Wyoming's 10 tournaments during the season. In 27 rounds of action she averaged 80.1 strokes per round to finish in UW's top four six times. Her low score and highest finish of the season was 228 (+12) to tie for 23rd at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic, as she was UW's second scorer at the event. She notched a career-best 73 (+1) during the third round of the event and also shot a 73 (+1) during the fall at the CU/Heather Farr Memorial. Blunt shot a 235 (+19) to finish as UW's fourth player at the Mountain West Conference Championship. After the season, Blunt was named to the Academic All-MWC team. High School: Blunt was a three-year letterwinner in golf at Aviation High, along with a team captain for three years. She was named the Central Division Player of the Year in 2007-09 and her team finished fifth in the Washington Class 4A golf championships two years. She was a member of the National Honor Society and a member of the all-academic team three straight years. Personal: Stacey was born Feb. 27 in Federal Way, Wash., to Bruce and Margie Blunt.
