2008-09 (Junior): It has been another record-breaking fall for the Cowgirls and right in the middle of the whole ride has been Fogerty. She has helped set the low team tournament score and the low team round this season. In the five tournaments thus far she has the highest individual finish when she tied for eighth at the Bronco Fall Invite in Boise, Idaho. At that same tournament the Cowgirls came away with their first title in 10 years. Sarah looks to continue her leadership on and off the golf course next semester.

2007-08 (Sophomore): Fogerty worked hard in the off-season, came into the fall and established herself as a top player for the Cowgirls. A confident, goal-oriented and focused player, Sarah played all five fall tournaments and was key in the team's school record marks for single round and event total. Fogerty went under par for the first time as a collegiate golfer when she shot 71 (-1) during the second round of the MDA Invitational. During the spring season she picked up just where she left off with a seventh place (+11) finish at the NAU/Red Rocks Invite. Her top finish of the year came at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic in Chandler, Ariz. She shot a team low eight over par, good for fourth-place overall. Sarah finished the season with four top-ten finishes and was second on the team in overall stroke average (78.36) in 33 rounds of play. For her accomplishments in the classroom she was named to the Academic All-Conference team during the spring.

2006-07 (Freshman): Fogerty made a smooth transition from high school to college golf and improved steadily throughout her first season. Sarah stepped right into the Cowgirl lineup and contributed at a high level, playing 11 of 12 events. She had the third best stroke average on the team (81.18) and had four top-25 finishes. Fogerty's low round was a 74 at the Red Rocks Invitational, which was also where she had her best finish, tenth of 92 golfers. Sarah was the Cowgirls' SAAC representative and was named Academic All-MWC.

High School: An accomplished junior golfer, Fogerty was a member of the San Diego Junior America's Cup team in the summers of 2005 and 2006. In 2006 her team played in events in Taiwan and Arizona, and the 2005 team competed in Mexico. During the summer of 2006 she played in the Junior World Championships. Fogerty was on the Mary Cave Cup team in San Diego during the fall of 2005. That year she was awarded the San Diego Junior Golfer of the Year award by the San Diego County Junior Golf Association (SDJGA). Fogerty was a member of the American Junior Golf Association, the top junior golf tour in the world. Fogerty's 2005 summer was highlighted by SDJGA wins at the Cubic Corporation Classic and Marvin K. Brown Match Play. Fogerty finished her senior high school season as captain of her team, winner of the Western League, and second at the Southern California Interscholastic Federation section. She is a two-time high school conference champion, a four-year CIF qualifier, the 2003 Oceanside Women's City Amateur Championships winner, a four-year MVP of her high school golf team and a near 4.0 student in the classroom. Other schools that recruited Fogerty included: Colorado State, Long Beach State and San Fransisco.

Personal: Born Nov. 2, 1988, Sarah is one of two daughters of Fred and Jan Fogerty. Her younger sister's name is Christy. Sarah is a communication major at UW.
