2011-12 (Freshman): Emily Woodard redshirted her first year in the Wyoming program. High School: Woodard was a two-time individual state champion under coach Mike Lepore at Cheyenne Central High School. She won titles as a sophomore and junior, while finishing second as a senior and sixth as a freshman to earn all-state honors all four years. A four-year letterwinner, Woodard helped guide her team to state titles during her final two seasons. Woodard also excelled in indoor track, as she earned three all-state honors in the high jump and helped her team win three state titles. In the classroom, she was an honor roll student all four years and in National Honor Society in her senior year. She was also a member of Key Club. Personal: The daughter of Lee and Rhonda Woodard, Emily was born on March 5, 1993. She is majoring in chemistry at UW. |
