UW This Season: Amsberry enters her senior season adding depth and leadership to a young forward position. She also looks to help the Cowgirls improve their shots on goal percentage in her final season.

2009: In her junior season, Amsberry played in a career high 13 games. She also took a career high in shots in 2009 with seven including two attempts in the first game of the season against Denver. Amsberry earned academic honors from the conference by being named Academic All-MWC with a 3.48 GPA and earned her first letter award.

2008: Amsberry saw action in four games for the Cowgirls in She took two shots in a 7-0 victory against South Dakota, and one shot against Fort Lewis in an exhibition match.

2007: Amsberry played in four games for the Cowgirls and took one shot as a freshman.

High School: Amsberry was a 5A Colorado State Champion at Arapahoe High School with a record of 17-3-0 her senior year. Her junior season, Arapahoe was the 5A state runner-up with a record of 17-2-1. She has been a part of several club teams that have won two championships and also earned a runner-up finish in 2005. In 2005 she received the scholar athlete award at Arapahoe and lettered in soccer all four years of high school.

Personal: She was born on December 23, 1988 in Littleton, Colo. She is the daughter of Carol and Marlin Amsberry. She has two brothers, Darin and Brian, and one sister, Torie. She is majoring in psychology and minoring in women's studies at UW.
