High School: Armijo joins the Cowgirls from Jackson Hole High School where she played forward and defense. Armijo earned a high school letter in soccer during her freshman and senior seasons. She missed her sophomore and junior seasons of high school soccer to compete for Sparta United Club Team out of Utah. In 2009, she led her team to a third-place finish in the Utah State Cup. During her freshman season at Jackson she led her team to a Class 3A Wyoming State Championship and was her team's leading scorer throughout the state tournament. She was also a member of the US Youth Soccer Wyoming state champions in 2006-07. She also was a three-year letterwinner in basketball, helping Jackson to two state championships. Armjio was also a member of the Jackson HS cross country state champions in 2006 and state runner-up in 2007. Armijo was also an excellent student, being named to the honor roll all four years. Personal: Armijo was born in Boise, Idaho, on March 16, 1993. She is the daughter of Reed and Jill Armijo. She has two younger brothers, Luke and Gus. Her father Reed played baseball at Gonzaga University. She plans to major in nursing while at UW. |
