2010: Burke played in five games for the Cowgirls during the 2010 season recording 244 minutes in goal. In her five games she made 12 saves and recorded a 70 percent save average. She picked up her first win as a Cowgirl goal keeper by shutting out Buffalo. 2009: Burke played in two games in goal as a freshman for the Cowgirls including 13 minutes against BYU in the last regular season game. Burke made one save against the Cougars. High School: Burke earned 5A All-Conference honors from 2006-2008, the highest level of high school competition in Colorado. Burke also played for the Puerto Rico Under-17 and Under-23 national teams in World Cup Qualifiers. Along with soccer, Burke also competed in basketball and swimming at Green Mountain High School. Meagan played her club soccer with the Colorado Storm. Personal: She was born on June 25, 1991 in Los Alamitas, Calif. She is the daughter of Patti and Pat Burke and has a sister, Kelly. She is majoring in physiology at UW. |
