UW This Season: As a three-year returning starter Candelaria is the most experienced player on the Cowgirl roster. She brings leadership, as well as, experience to the Cowgirl midfield.

2009: Candelaria started in all 20 games for the Cowgirls as a junior. Entering her senior season she has started in all but two games at UW. In 2009 Candelaria took eight shots, three on goal and earned her straight letter award.

2008: In her sophomore season, Candelaria started in all but two of the 19 games for the Cowgirls.In the offensive attack, she took seven shots, and added an assist against Bryant and South Dakota that were both Cowgirl wins. Candelaria earned her second UW letter award.

2007: Candelaria made a huge impact on the Cowgirls offensive attack her freshman season. She started all 19 games and scored one goal and had two assits. Her four points were sixth on the team and she took 17 shots while earning her first letter award.

High School: Candelaria made the 5A All-District team her sophomore, junior and senior seasons and was a team captain her senior year at Cibola High School. She also received the Farmer's APS Soccer All-Tournament award and made the Albuquerque Tribune's All-Metro Team her senior season. Her sophomore and junior seasons she received the Player's Player MVP award at Cibola. Candelaria has also been a part of five club championship teams.

Personal: She was born, Juliana Candelaria, on February 18, 1989. She is the daughter of Annette Collado and Al Candelaria. She has a younger sister, Vanessa and two younger brothers, Zach and Jordan. She is majoring in speech language and hearing science.
