17  Mara Cosgrove

2010: Cosgrove missed the 2010 season due to injury.

2009: Cosgrove started in all but one Cowgirl game as a freshman and was tied for second on the team in goals scored with three. Cosgrove scored her three goals in a four game span, the first of her career coming in a 1-0 victory against UC Riverside and scored her other two goals against MWC opponents in Air Force and New Mexico. In the classroom, Cosgrove earned Academic All-MWC in psychology with a 3.69 GPA.

High School: Cosgrove was the team-captain for two years at Legacy High School. She earned First Team All-Conference in 2007 and 2008, as well as second team All-State in 2008. Cosgrove also played basketball where she earned honorable mention All-Conference in 2006-07. Her basketball team was second place in the 5A State Championship in 2007 when she was the team captain. Academically, Cosgrove was four time Academic All-Conference, National Honor Society member for three years, and Academic Letter Winner for four years.

Personal: She was born on Jan. 15, 1991 in Omaha, Neb. She is the daughter of Pam and Kevin Cosgrove and has a sister, Kasey. She is majoring in microbiology.
