University of Sydney: Mahoney transferred to UW from the University of Sydney. While at the University of Sydney she was named All-Region from 2006 to 2009. She was a member of the New South Wales State Team from 2006-09, helping led them to a national championship in 2007. In 2009, she was also a member of the Australian School Girl's squad. She was named an All-State performer in 2008-09 and to the Australian University Team in 2010. She is also very accomplished in the classroom being named top of her class in Aboriginal Studies in 2009.

Personal: Mahoney was born in Sydney, Australia, on Feb. 9, 1992. She is the daughter of Keith and Jan. She has a sister, Kaitlyn. She plans to major in kinesiology while at UW.
